Sometimes you need to remind yourself you were the one who carried yourself through hardships and pain. You were the one who picked the pieces of your heart when it was broken. You were the one who takes care of yourself, tucks it into bed, who clothes it and who feeds it. And for all this you should be proud of yourself for having the strength to carry yourself and take care of it, even though life seems to be trying to bleed you dry.
