So.. im cooked (learn from my mistakes)
I'm sure y'all think I'm a good, perfect student, and I am a good student, but recently life's been such a mess and now my finals are 3 days away. I have 2 months of content to cover, and I seriously need to ace my finals as I ALMOST FAILED (67% and 73%) on 2 of my tests, why? ✨️PrOcaStiNaTion✨️ I was way too lazy to even study and ended up last-minute cramming the morning of the tests, which didn't help at all, even after all this mess, I still think there's a chance for me to do good in my finals, and that's the one good thing I'm doing- focusing on what I can do NOW to improve my future rather than dwelling on the past (even tho I feel guilty af) 🧋So here's my plan, which I'LL EDIT MORE but it may help you if you ever need it Day 1: Batch 1 (Chemistry, Biology, ICT) Morning: *Use note-taking method (a): 1. Read the textbook/notes for Chemistry Unit 1 and Unit 2. 2. Understand main concepts and analyze examples. 3. Practice questions for both units. *Analyze mistakes: Write corrections in your notes. Afternoon: Biology: Focus on 2 units. Use mind maps to connect ideas (e.g., processes in systems). ICT: Skim core content and make a cheat sheet+ flashcards) Batch 2 (Math, Physics, English) Evening: Math: Use blurting: Attempt 10-15 problems without prep, identify weaknesses, and revise those areas. Physics: Focus on Unit 1 (as that’s all you’ve studied so far). Use note-taking method (b): Minimal notes + questions. Night: English: Write down essay formats, and key grammar rules, and practice a few questions. Day 2: Practice and Consolidate Morning: Chemistry and Biology: Create mind maps for tough topics from Day 1 + go through extra topics take notes solve practice questions and analyze mistakes. Afternoon: Physics and ICT: Use blurting for past paper questions. Revisit wrong answers and update your cheat sheets. Evening: Math: Use mind maps to visualize formulas and problem-solving techniques. English: Draft potential essays, focusing on structure and key arguments. Day 3: Rapid Revision and Confidence Boosting Morning: 1 recapping batch 1 Cycle through all subjects with cheat sheets and flashcards. Revise key concepts using keyword extraction (method c). Morning: 2 recapping batch 2 Cycle through all subjects with cheat sheets and flashcards. Revise key concepts using keyword extraction (method c). Afternoon: Do mock tests or past papers for each subject. Spend time on mistakes analysis and quick fixes. Evening: Final blurting session: Answer questions from memory across all subjects. A quick review of cheat sheets before bed.
Good luck 🍀🤞🏻
