HOW TO STUDY CHEM EFFICIENTLY :3 1. Focus on Concepts First Before memorizing equations or facts, understand the why behind reactions and rules. Chemistry builds layer by layer. (it can seem overwhelming at first but at the end its so much more worth it than just knowing smth because of memorisation) 2. Practice Problems Every Day Chemistry is like math — you get better by doing, not just reading. Even 20 minutes a day helps. 3. Teach It to Someone Else If you can explain a concept in simple words (even to yourself), you really know it. 4. Use Visuals Draw diagrams, reaction mechanisms, and molecule structures. Your brain remembers visuals way better than text. 5. Make a Cheat Sheet Summarize key equations, concepts, trends, and definitions onto one page — even if you can’t bring it to the exam, making it helps you memorize. 6. Learn the Periodic Table Trends You don’t need to memorize the whole table, but knowing trends like electronegativity, atomic radius, and ionization energy will make problems way easier. 7. Understand Units and Significant Figures A lot of chemistry mistakes come from not paying attention to units or rounding wrong. Master these early. 8. Stay Organized Keep your notes clear. Label steps when solving problems. Chemistry can get messy fast if you don’t. 9. Don’t Cram Cramming for chemistry rarely works because the problems require thinking, not just recalling facts. Start early and review often. 10. Stay Curious Instead of dreading it, get curious about why reactions happen or how molecules interact. Curiosity makes studying less painful and way more effective. REMEMBER have funsies guys!!🩷🍀🍀 and treat yourself with kindness dont let yourself burn out. you can do this!! >_<
im back after what seems like 10000 years😓
btw should i keep these tips for all STEMs? i feel like they're pretty helpful since we all can fall short on one or more of them. (me with bio literally 🤠)
Thanks
