Do not settle for a temporary relationship ‼🤍

Have you ever asked this question: "Is this person the right one for me?" Many of us—especially young people— are looking for a partner, looking for a boyfriend, or looking for a girlfriend. Admit it or not, a lot of young people nowadays are so obsessed with their crushes to the point they start settling for less.  Remember, infatuation or crushes can be the spark that ignites or can be the fuel for the fire of sinful thoughts such as lust, discontent, and jealousy. Having a crush is not a sin, but what you do with those attractions may cause you to SIN. And never forget that the wages of sin is DEATH. If you find that you are only attracted to the person's exterior beauty or the fact that they just happened to be friendly to you, kind to you, and you are already going to date them, then that is not actually enough to go on. Because marriage is more than just looks and we should strive to discover the innermost character of the person who has caught our eye before we decide to make a commitment of the heart. (From Erin Sy's preaching).  Reflect on this question first before entering a relationship with someone: Have they accepted Jesus as their Lord and personal savior? If the answer is NO, then that person is not the one for you, because God's will never contradict God's word. A man who doesn't love Jesus is a man that you can live without. A woman who doesn't pursue Jesus is a woman you do not need to be dating.  One more thing, there is NO SHAME in WAITING. Because, something you want to LAST SHOULD NOT BE RUSHED. The choices we make are a reflection of how we value the Spirit of God in our lives. So, don't reject your walk with God just to fit in the world of dating. Don't lower your standards because God knows when is the perfect time for you to meet the right person.  The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 13:8, "Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away." True, Pure, and Godly Love develops the fruit of the Spirit. Instead of rushing things, pray to God; Ask God to guide and lead you towards the right person that will draw yourselves closer to Him.
